GENERAL FUNCTION

Lead Responsible Sourcing initiatives as part of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability. Champion Product Sustainability and Factory Social Compliance working cross functionally.

 

Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Expand and elevate the Company’s understanding of Product Sustainability and Factory Social Compliance
  • Design and execute strategy for Product Sustainability that includes partnerships with Materials, Brands, Product Development and Factory partners
  • Lead Social Compliance program and expand program to oversee all manufacturing of brand intellectual property
  • Implement SAC Higg Index across all related brands and functions and leading continuous improvement opportunities to increase score annually
  • Design reporting scheme to capture and analyze related data
  • Set clear KPIs and Goals, generating regular Progress Reports to be shared cross functionally, including leading this area as part of the annual Corporate Responsibility Report
  • Identify sustainability trends and translate those to WWW product as appropriate, including identifying outside technical expertise where needed
  • Represent WWW at SAC, FDRA and other industry organizations.
  • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Specific experience in one of the key disciplines: environmental sustainability, product sustainability or responsible sourcing.
  • 10 years of experience leading similar function in another corporate environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others
