GENERAL FUNCTION

Drive brand awareness and business growth in international markets including both owned and distributor based operations. Develop business and marketing strategies to grow Int’l business and increased brand relevance.  Partner with brand management team, marketing, product development, the International distributors, sales directors and regional marketing teams to drive the business and build the brand through consistent execution at all consumer touch points.  Guide and direct international brand teams through GTM strategy, brand planning, marketing, social media, retail development, advertising and promotional activities.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Partner with brand management team in the development of the global brand vision and strategic plans and guide the international distributor base to increase brand awareness and revenue growth internationally.
  • Establish dynamic and empowering relationships with International distributor network, internal team and vendors to grow the brand internationally.
  • Direct the distributor GTM and business planning process and seasonal reviews by country including marketing spend.
  • Project manage and develop specific marketing assets to support global launch initiatives, new product introductions, retail best practices and social media promotions.
  • Oversee management of international marketing budget.
  • Direct and support the growth of mono brand retail stores globally.
  • Conduct formal and informal market research across international territories. Provide analysis regarding performance of marketing programs and brand position in key markets.
  • Lead all Int’l business meetings at global conferences in partnership with regional business directors and brand management.
  • Partner with the International Product Line Manager to develop and drive product stories that are brand relevant and drive revenue growth.
  • Drive consumer understanding by ensuring segmentation is communicated and adopted globally
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager
  • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or equivalent work experience
  • 8+  years of  marketing/branding experience, 3+ years of management experience
  • Retail experience required
  • Excellent writing skills; Foreign language skills a plus
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient with personal computers, internet and digital marketing platforms
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience in a fashion or footwear related industry
