Overview

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Product Line Coordinator for the Wolverine Kids Group is responsible for supporting the lifestyle product management team, focused on Sperry, Keds, and Hush Puppies, throughout the product creation process.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES

  1. Sample Management:
    1. Manage to a sample budget determined by brand finance
    2. Responsible for all sample organization and tagging. This includes maintaining all sample racks throughout the product creation season.
    3. Responsible for the availability of samples for line meetings, customer visits, marketing, sales representatives and retail buyer needs
    4. Manage the product library to ensure team has a history of past season’s shoes
    5. Set up, communicate and maintain the sales sample approval grid
  2. Meeting Management:
    1. Assist with the organization and delivery of our seasonal product creation packets (Brand Strategy Alignment, ISR, FSR, Brand Conference)
    2. Support sales operations team at key points in the season, particularly with respect to trade shows and brand conferences
  3. Document Management:
    1. Responsible for maintaining line sheets & line lists in the Stream Line system and communicating updates to internal distribution lists
    2. Issues the following reports: line sheets, line lists, change memos, sales sample approval grids, product approval reports
    3. Responsible for supporting the catalogue process:
      1. Briefing collection shots
      2. Setting up shoes for individual shots
      3. Mapping the feature and benefit content
    4. Will engage in “Super User” training for our new line management system, PLM, to be implemented in 2018
  4. Other:
    1. Responsible for maintaining an organized product team room
    2. Responsible for UPC box label line art
  5. Performing duties consistent with the Company's AAP/EEO goals and policies
  6. Performing other duties as required/assigned by manager

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • 4 year degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Limited travel seasonally
