GENERAL FUNCTION

The successful candidate will work closely with the brand leadership to drive enthusiasm and excitement for the brand through activation and content development that supports key product and brand storytelling. They will manage the ambassador programs, brand partnerships (cause and industry), and serve as the main liaison for brand activations.

Responsibilities

  • Work with brand leadership to manage, implement and measure the brand’s ambassador strategy to support brand and key product initiatives.
  • Help lead content creation and storytelling from start to finish for athlete ambassadors to drive consumer engagement. Partner with the Global Brand Social Media teams (main global team and subsidiaries) to develop calendar and ensure content is engaging, relevant and shareable.
  • Serve as the main marketing liaison for cause partnerships and corporate social responsibility. Help establish a point-of-view and ensure we communicate and leverage appropriately.
  • Help lead activation content creation (videos, emails, newsletters) and activation outside of event weekends to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Leverage influencer programs to drive awareness, loyalty and product sales.
  • Partner on larger local sponsorships, if applicable.
  • Help develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics for ambassadors and partnerships; monitor and make changes as necessary.
  • Work with internal and external resources to assist with the development and management of the brand’s various seasonal marketing strategies, programs, and assets; and continuously measure the effectiveness of those strategies and programs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams in the development of tools that support the brand global marketing and product communications strategies. 
  • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in consumer marketing, event marketing or content development and working with brand partners and ambassadors. Preference shown to candidates with a connection-driven or social media brand background.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including a high comfort level with public speaking and presenting. Influencing skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task, combining strategy and execution. A willingness to step in to get the job done.
  • Proficiency with personal computers (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite); preferably MAC.
  • A track record of effectively working to a budget and measuring results.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the USA and on weekends.
