GENERAL FUNCTION

Supports the team by performing a wide variety of duties that require a high level of organization, attention to detail and independent analysis.

Responsibilities

  1. Answers telephone, gives information to callers or routes call to appropriate official and places outgoing calls.
  2. Communicates with high-level personnel within and outside the organization
  3. Responds to residents’ concerns and directs questions to the proper person for answers and solutions
  4. Sorts and routes incoming mail/emails for the environmental office.
  5. Schedules and coordinates appointments and meetings
  6. Compiles, types and distributes various reports and information
  7. Review and prepare invoices for vendor payment
  8. Supports and organizes various projects as assigned, allowing leaders to focus on the creation & execution of strategy
  9. Maintains confidentiality in performing duties for the environmental office.
  10. Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  11. Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ administrative/clerical experience or equivalent skills and abilities.
  • Bachelor degree Communication or equivalent coursework preferred.
  • Keyboarding skills a minimum of 65 wpm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to perform job functions in a competent, professional and customer oriented confidential manner.
  • Fast-paced work environment requiring the ability to handle multiple tasks with little or no supervision.
