The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Kids Group of Wolverine Worldwide marketing management team throughout the marketing planning & implementation process.
1. Brand Marketing
Assist the Kids Group of Wolverine Worldwide marketing team in the execution of marketing efforts. Projects include:
-Supporting Public Relations agency needs & event planning; supporting seasonal brand marketing campaigns with brief writing and submissions.
-Responsible for supporting the catalogue process by partnering with Category Managers to brief key stories
-Owns and manages the portfolio master marketing calendar gaining input from all key stakeholders and ensuring it is always up-to-date
-Own the monthly portfolio marketing newsletter including but not limited to recaps of key marketing programs (see reporting), communication of upcoming programs, etc.
-Additional team support for market research and promotional partners
Assist the Kids Group of Wolverine Worldwide marketing in the execution of all social media marketing efforts. Projects include:
-Management of seasonal social media campaigns (planning with adult teams and kids category managers, creative briefing, execution, and reporting);
-Develop relationships with adult brand team social media leaders to keep a pulse on their social media plans; be an advocate for how kids can be integrated into organic posts
-Manage micro-influencer program to seed product amongst influential consumers and creating content for owned digital channels
-Reporting – Partner with category managers and sales teams to develop recaps of key marketing programs.
2. Wholesale Marketing
Tradeshow Project Management – Manage the planning, preparation and execution for all wholesale tradeshows and showrooms.
-Brand Conference Project Management- Manage the planning, preparation, and execution for adult and kids brand conference meetings (creative planning, set-up & breakdown, etc)
-Manage Kids group promotional materials.
-Support category managers with execution of key account marketing programs.
-Support category managers with presentation development
3. Administrative Duties
-Support marketing team with ad hoc administrative items including but not limited to shipping packages, ordering samples, meeting planning
-Performing other duties as required/assigned by team
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or 1- 2 years equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical and computer skills in Microsoft Office with advance skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and the Adobe suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Experience in product sales, marketing and/or retail a plus
• Limited travel seasonally
