The Allocation Analyst is responsible for the allocation of specific styles and sizes for retail stores to ensure they have the appropriate merchandise mix and inventory levels to achieve departmental goals. He/she will perform productivity analysis that will support assortment planning and ensure sales, inventory and profit are maximized.

Responsibilities

  • Manage weekly replenishment schedules including initial merchandise setup and maintenance for Multibrand outlet stores and for Hush Puppies Concept stores.
  • Manage store volume inventory and maintain style size models to ensure appropriate in stock management.
  • Effectively communicate and present analysis results that will provide direction and alter future planning decisions.
  • Develop and implement process improvements for sales/inventory planning and allocations efforts for Multibrand outlet stores and Hush Puppies Concept stores including; style productivity, allocation rules, product flow, RTVs, job outs, and markdowns).
  • Execute allocation efforts to ensure business is maximized and risk is minimized.
  • Continuously monitor sales trends and evaluate results of product sales.
  • Build strategic relationships with stores and the internal merchant team to streamline communication and drive results.
  • Prepares and maintains purchase orders for style setup and replenishment
  • Performing duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Performing other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent
  • 1+ years of retail allocation or planning experience preferred
  • Must be highly organized, self motivated, have strong communication skills, and be able to work in a fast paced environment while prioritizing and achieving deadlines.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills and have an aptitude for working with numbers
  • Strong excel skills, report query and analysis a must. Experience with JDA preferred
  • Experience with SAP Retail, SAP AFS, and BW is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, such as Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Previous Retail experience preferred
