    The Facility Project Coordinator will create space plans, presentation drawings and specifications for the design of effective work environments.  Responsible for space plan implementation and budgets.  Supervises internal and contracted furniture installation personnel, corporate warehouse operator and construction contractor coordination for various projects.

    Primary Duties

    • Analyzes individual and team needs to obtain specific office programming data and end-user space needs, using CAD technology formulates designs to address those specific needs.
    • Manages and leverages the company’s excess furniture warehouse for optimum cost control.
    • Maintains files and records of projects and layout drawings, including computer generated plans and specifications of facilities for asset management.
    • Develops budgets for, coordinates, schedules and manages facility projects involving office project installations, general facility repair, renovations and interior aesthetic modifications.
    • Supervises Corporate Warehouse Operator, including consolidating, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
    • Performs data cabling installations.
    • Performs personnel moves including phone and computer moves along with back room system changes to support moves.
    • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
    • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    • Equivalent work experience.
    • 4+ years experience in office design, layout and installation utilizing contract furniture and open plan systems; knowledge of electrical power, telephone and data wiring installation.
    • Proficient in use of computer technology and standard office operating programs, along with AutoCAD® software and systems furniture symbol libraries and data bases.
    • Experience in building construction and maintenance issues, including budgeting, selection and supervision of contractors and in-house service personnel.
    • Knowledge of local, state and federal building codes and regulations.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
