Supports development and execution of the Company’s strategies through thoughtful analysis of results and budgets. Working closely with the CFO, investor relations, and as a member of the FP&A team, this role is responsible for developing consistent messaging and value-added analysis to internal and external stakeholders.

Primary Duties

  • Contributes to the development of the long-term planning at Group and Corporate level, based on analysis of key markets, competitor developments, and long-term consumer trends.
  • Keeps up to date with developments in industry, competitor developments, consumer trends, and general marketplace conditions that impact our performance.
  • Presents the analysis and recommendations to senior managers either orally or in writing, as required and ensures that such presentations are effective and persuasive.
  • Provides ad-hoc support to VPs of Finance, CFO, & CEO, including communications.
  • Support merger and acquisition activities.
  • Supports Investor Relations, including primary contact with buy and sell-side analysts.
  • Drive high-quality insight and analysis on quarterly results and forecasts, as well as both long-range and annual plans, summarizing key stories and recommendations for senior management while supporting stakeholders across the organization.
  • Contribute to the continuing development of best-in-class reporting packages, including KPI development, to measure the success of growth strategies and strategic initiatives.
  • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• At least 5 years of professional experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required from a top-tier university, preferably in Finance or possibly Accounting or Economics; MBA preferred
• Experience in business strategy within a large organization or consultancy environment
• Experience advising senior leaders on strategic issues
• Ability to analyze and synthesize complex business data (financial, consumer, economic, etc.) in the development of compelling and cogent presentations
• Ability to apply analytical frameworks and strategic business models and tools.
• Ability to work with limited direction, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment
• Substantial experience with data analysis with focus on financial statements and operational KPIs
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Merger and Acquisition due diligence experience preferred
• Footwear industry knowledge a plus

 

WORKING CONDITIONS
Normal office environment.  Some travel may be required.
