The Learning Program Manager is responsible for the effective development, coordination and presentation of global training and development programs.

Primary Duties

  • Supports the development of Learning Strategy and Programs that support/link organizational goals and strategy.
  • Identifies global training needs, creates training programs and leverages internal and external resources to meet needs; determines appropriate classes and programs and executes globally.
  • Creates emerging, supervisor, and management leadership development programs.  This includes the design and implementation of an effective leadership program, including experiential learning, action learning assignments, and other program strategies that drive  career growth for targeted leaders
  • Designs and implements processes and tools for supporting the development of high potential individuals and high performing teams.
  • Manages corporate training budget.  Plans and controls costs in accordance with approved departmental budget.
  • Provides project management oversight to plan, execute & manage global learning initiatives.
  • Designs, develops and facilitates instructor-led training and evaluates effectiveness.
  • Designs and develops global, web-based courses and programs, utilizing multiple authoring tools and technologies.
  • Selects external vendors, as needed, and manages vendor relationships and budget.
  • Assists with the creation of individual development plans for participants; provides guidance on appropriate resources and suggested development activities. 
  • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, education, or liberal arts or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years experience in Human Resources with some management experience.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and fast-paced change.
  • Proficient with personal computers, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. 
  • Proficient with web-based authoring tools, including Articulate and Captivate.
  • Knowledge of adult learning styles and HR legal framework and applicable laws.



    Normal office environment.  Some travel required.
