    The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing leadership to drive enthusiasm and excitement for the brand by working with our sales team and retailers in creation of POP development and instore asset execution.

    Primary Duties

    • Assists in development and execution of marketing programs for key wholesale accounts.
    • Manages budget forecasting and reconciliation for coop budget.
    • Assist in pitching and executing strategic retail programs to drive sell through
    • Manages POP/visual display programs to amplify brand presence at retail.
    • Distributes creative assets to accounts quarterly to for use in-store and online.
    • Drives sell-in by pitching brand initiatives to key accounts at meetings and trade events (travel required 30%).
    • Executes key account extensions of national advertising campaign
    • Collaborates with internal and external partners to maximize retail opportunities
    • Completes special projects as required.
    • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
    • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    • Bachelors Degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
    • 2+ years experience in consumer marketing, product marketing, and/or trade marketing, ideally in a consumer products environment. Preference shown to candidates with a combined classical consumer or customer marketing background and connection-driven or social media brand background.
    • Strong personal connections with outdoor activities and adventures.
    • A natural leader and team player.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.
    • Good oral and written communication skills, including a high comfort level with public speaking and presenting. Influencing skills required.
    • Ability to multi-task, combining strategy and execution. A willingness to step in to get the job done.
    • A track record of effectively working to a budget and measuring results.
    • Ability and willingness to travel within the USA.
    WORKING CONDITIONS
    Normal office environment. Some travel required.
