Responsible for the design, building, deployment, and maintenance of role-based security throughout the global SAP application suite and their accompanying landscapes.

Primary Duties

  1. Define and maintain corporate security standards, processes, policies, and strategies.
  2. Ensure compliance with all corporate and legal requirements i.e. Sarbanes-Oxley.
  3. Work with internal and external auditors to prepare SAP security reports and to provide information as requested.
  4. Collaborate with business process owners and other team members to ensure that security settings meet the requirements of the business and align with the defined controls and standards.
  5. Provide production support / troubleshooting of issues for all SAP environments and instances.
  6. Participates and supports disaster recovery initiatives and change management standards and procedures.
  7. Provide 24-hour on call support, including evenings and weekends.
  8. Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
  9. Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Bachelors Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of information systems 'best practices' for maintaining large corporate systems and 3-5 years experience with increasing level of responsibility are desired.
  • Minimum of 3 years SAP Security experience.
  • Extensive experience in Profile Generator (PFCG) and GRC.
  • Experience supporting security in ECC modules: FI/CO, SD/MM, and LO in release 6.0 or higher.
  • Understanding of BW, Enterprise Portal, Retail, SEM, and PI/PO security in releases 6.x and later.
  • Knowledge of SAP's Central User Administration (CUA).
  • Experience in BASIS administration, VIRSA, CATT Scripts, BW Info cubes, Info objects, Hierarchy, Variables a plus.
  • Certification in area of expertise or equivalent training is a plus.
  • Manage small projects with assistance.
  • Customer focus, team player, results driven.
  • Good analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate independently.
