    The Product Specialist will assist Developers, Product Managers and Product Expeditor with the development and commercialization of product.

    Primary Duties

     
    • Provide assistance in the development process to Product Manager by attending critical path meetings and entering all pattern criteria into PLM 2.0.
    • Provide visibility to all team members by distributing weekly adoption and critical path reports.
    • Provide assistance in the new line development process for pre selection and line closing meetings by owning all milestone sample coordination.
    • Provides assistance to Product Manager to coordinate and initiates testing with Rockford lab.
    • Point of contact as centralized sampling by ordering sales samples for all three key markets, ie. USA, Int’l and EMEA for new line launches, order all PR sales samples for marketing,
    • and tracking to completion and delivery.
    • Maintains the CAT Central Stores room with keeping room updated and in working order.
    • Maintains and coordinates all spec change forms to Asia and photography for digital library.
    • Maintains and coordinates samples to the digital media team for seasonal buyers guide.
    • Directs and maintains all internal records for all stock numbering, proto id numbers, and pattern names.
    • Point of contact for customer service representatives.
    • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    • Bachelors degree in Business/Engineering.
    • 1 to 2 years of experience in Footwear/Engineering.
    • Ability to multitask effectively
    • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • High proficiency with MS Office, AS400, PLM, BW, Database Analyzer etc.
    • Efficient with computers/Microsoft Excel.
    • Effective Multi-tasker
    • Understand global markets and economies, including US and foreign customs regulations.
    WORKING CONDITIONS
    Office and factory environment. Travel is required.
    Ability to lift 30lbs+
