    The Art Director creates, delivers and drives seasonal brand storytelling through content creation that is shared globally across ecommerce, retail, digital and social. An amazing collaborator and leader who has endless inspiring, strategic and innovative ideas that deliver against seasonal strategic objectives. Partners with Creative Director in leading the creative team through ideation, execution, and production.

    Primary Duties

    • Develops and drives creative alignment across relevant brand teams.
    • Collaborates with Creative Director to drive seasonal brand storytelling from conception to execution.
    • Projects may include but are not limited to digital advertising, ecommerce UX design, email marketing, social channels, catalog, direct mail, retail, tradeshow and packaging.
    • Partners with ecommerce team to create wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps and screen flows to drive the ultimate site experience
    • Creates crave-worthy catalogs (printed & digital) that celebrate seasonal creative direction and electrifies product storytelling.
    • Mentors and manages talented design team of up to three direct reports.
    • Drives creative alignment across the brand and evaluate the value of creative requests against larger business strategy and needs.
    • Directs designers, production assistants, stylists, photographers, copywriters, freelancers and illustrators as they may relate to the execution of projects.
    • Reviews photography, illustrations, copy and layouts with designers and production graphic artists to improve and refine as needed.
    • Is intrigued by the competition and keeps a close eye on global creative activity and emerging design trends.
    • With a keen eye, partners with photographers and videographers to create next level creative.
    • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
    • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, design or related field, or equivalent.
    • 8 years of advertising agency or design studio experience as Art Director or equivalent.
    • Highly creative team collaborator obsessed with all things in the digital, design, and fashion world.
    • Dedicated to graphic consistency and quality.
    • Proven ability to research and translate design trends into graphic concepts.
    • Proven experience managing and directing all aspects of photo direction.
    • Excels in Adobe Creative Suite and other graphics software on a Mac platform
    • Candidate must possess required skills to manage in-house creative team.
    • Must have required skills to manage accounts and client relationships.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in an exciting fast-paced creative environment
    • Has a can-do attitude, promotes and excels in a positive work environment
    • Strong organizational and self-directing skills.
    • General understanding of printing production.



      Normal office environment. Some travel may be required.
