    The Financial Reporting Manager will be a key member of the Corporate Accounting team with responsibility for the monthly and quarterly accounting close process and will work closely with other team members to create accurate and timely consolidated financial reporting in accordance with GAAP. The ideal candidate will be an individual with a great understanding of accounting principles, ERP systems and month-end close processes. We’re looking for someone that can challenge the status quo, bring forward innovative ideas and drive them to fruition.

    Primary Duties

    • Lead and oversee the global financial close process, including review of consolidating adjustments and eliminations.
    • Prepare consolidated financial statements and monthly reporting package for internal distribution to finance leaders and Company executives.
    • Manage and develop a team of financial analysts, providing direct oversight, review and training.
    • Perform various variance and statistical analyses related to the Company’s results of operations.
    • Responsible for the general ledger and chart of accounts. Ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
    • Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings.
    • Oversee the consolidation of the results of joint ventures.
    • Oversee the intercompany process, including intercompany settlements, recognition of dividends and capital contributions and the calculation of equity in earnings.
    • Partner with IT on the implementation of system enhancements and reporting initiatives. Proactively identify gaps in current system and partner with IT to develop solutions
    • Assist in maintenance of financial reports and tools, including troubleshooting of issues and applying solutions.
    • Actively participate in ongoing projects independently and as a member of cross-functional teams, search for and realize efficiencies, and act as business owner of consolidated financial reporting.
    • Respond to inquiries from the Corporate Controller, internal and external auditors, and Corporate FP&A team regarding financial results and special requests.
    • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
    • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    • Bachelors degree in accounting, or MBA with equivalent work experience.
    • CPA required; experience auditing financial statements preferred.
    • 5 years work experience with consolidations and financial reporting. Experience in financial planning, forecasting and analysis is a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Excellent professional communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Excel.
    • Experience with SAP and BW a plus.
