    A Service Assistant performs a wide variety of services relating to maintaining a smooth flow of information throughout the company, including sorting incoming mail for distribution and preparing and dispatching outgoing mail.

    Primary Duties

    • Receive inbound mail and packages (Intra-Company, USPS, FedEx, DHL, UPS, Etc.) using barcode scanners to shipping and receiving system.
    • Sort all inbound mail and packages for delivery to recipients in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Collect mail and packages from for processing and shipping\mailing twice daily.
    • Fold, insert and seal transactional documents such as invoices, credit memos and statements with folding\insertion equipment.
    • Fold, collate and insert large mailing projects for USPS bulk mailings.
    • Meter and prepare appropriate documents for presort mailing of transactional documents and bulk mailings.
    • Determine best method of shipment for mail and packages to meet customer requirements, prepare and process shipments via USPS, FedEx, UPS and DHL.
    • Provide print bindery operations to meet print production schedules
    • Work with the Digital Production Specialist and Digital Print Operator to ensure binding, finishing and fulfillment is accomplished on schedule.
    • Service Assistants provide print finishing such as padding, lamination, drilling, cutting, folding, scoring, slitting, mounting, punching and twin loop binding.
    • Monitor shipping email box to fulfill supply, toner and paper orders placed by WW brands, departments and retail stores.
    • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
    • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • USPS, mail center and shipping, receiving and mailing experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated computer skills; proficiency in Outlook and small parcel carrier shipping systems
    • Knowledge of domestic and international USPS, FedEx, DHL and UPS regulations and standards; an understanding of international shipping and documentation is required.
    • Excellent attendance/punctuality
    • Ability to work cooperatively with other employees and departments.
    • Good organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
    • Ability to work overtime when needed
    • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
    • Able to move up to 60 lbs.
