    This role will work in a variety of areas under the supervision of attorneys and the in-house Legal Department Manager providing support in all areas of the legal process.  The role includes administrative, legal secretary and paralegal duties as assigned.

    Primary Duties

    • Provide direct support to the legal department on a variety of legal tasks, including creating correspondence, memos, and reports.

    • Prepares legal documents for review, approval and use by attorneys.

    • Performs internet and legal research, as necessary

    • Draft, revise and review various commercial contracts

    • Coordinate due diligence documents and review relevant materials

    • Provide assistance in tracking and managing various legal initiatives

    • Update and maintain electronic files, databases, email and directories

    • Provide litigation support

    • Prepare materials for corporate Board and Committee meetings

    • Oversee Disclosure Committee process and prepares required materials

    • Prepare reports and presentations

    • Prepare general documents and maintain document files

    • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies

    • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    • Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Degree/Certification (or equivalent work experience)
    • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as a legal assistant
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to perform job functions in a competent, professional and customer-oriented and confidential manner
    • Excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to detail
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and plan time wisely
    • Strong computer skills, proficiency in Excel, Word, Internet-based research, and ability to learn and use various software programs used by Legal Department
