This position is responsible for developing global import and export activities to ensure compliance with U.S. and foreign customs laws and regulations as well as audit, maintain, and perform all activities associated with the Company’s various Customs initiatives.
Manage the Company’s Customs Compliance and Duty Management programs.
Build and manage productive relationships with each brand’s leadership team by providing guidance on duty savings opportunities.
Manage the Company’s Customs Brokerage Operations
Provide guidance to Customs Compliance Team members in order to provide best-in-class customer service and duty savings opportunities to each brand / customer.
Coordinate inter-department initiatives with various teams, such as, but not limited to, the logistics teams, global security teams, lab services teams, customer service teams, warehouse teams, and finance teams.
Monitor regulatory & legislative changes within the footwear & apparel industry to ensure the Company is providing up-to-date information to industry trade organizations, as well as taking advantage of all available programs.
Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager
Normal office environment. Some travel may be required.
