    This position is responsible for driving and creating all internal and external brand reporting.  The successful candidate will perform research, analysis, and reporting of sales and financial trends, as well as financial, product forecasting, demand planning support, and various other reporting tasks to help the leadership team plan and manage the brand’s continued growth.

     

    Primary Duties

    1. Using internal company data, educating management to understand sales by platform, pattern, SKU, gender, size and color.
    2. Maintain and revise an agency scorecard, which provides sales management with an accurate view of macro agency trends across a broad array of KPI’s.  Makes recommended territory and key account goals.
    3. Using vendor partner data to report sell-through, including gender, pattern and color trends.
    4. Track seasonal sales by territory, key accounts and independent accounts territory sales and top customer detailed analyses.
    5. Forecasting/planning for sales leadership and demand planning team and the brand GM, makes recommendations based on trending data. Will perform regularly scheduled and ad hoc research and reporting on forecasted results for future seasons to provide trending for key accounts, sales    territories, etc. to enable accurate financial forecasting and to support inventory planning.
    6. Comparative preseason orders for all key accounts and “other” accounts for each territory, as well as anticipated quarterly sales results by account/territories.
    7. Track contract usage results for all contract accounts.
    8. Create inventory planning reports to support Demand Planning Manager with anticipated product shipments and      resulting inventory (ATP) levels – to help drive accurate inventory purchasing and product flow. 
    9. Create miscellaneous sales planning reports for sales leadership, as well as brand GM, Demand Planning Manager.  Develop and automate regularly scheduled, as well as ad hoc research and reporting on various elements of outstanding and incoming orders, recent shipments, closeout/skim inventory, etc.
    10. Run Production Planning Reports, Open Production Order Reports, and produce Skim List, elevating concerns to cross functional business partners.
    11. Monitors the alignment of demand and supply on daily basis and communicates deviation to sales management and demand planning leadership.
    12. Responsible for accurate PO entry, order tracking and updates.
    13. Complete seasonal pricing loads and address pricing issues throughout the season.
    14. Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
    15. Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

     
    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
    • 4+ years experience in sales, operations, finance, or accounting.
    • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to use data to identify and illustrate trends.
    • Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
    • Strong skills with Microsoft Excel and BW reporting/Analyzer preferred.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally and externally.
    • Ability to multi-task and a willingness to step in to get the job done.
