    The Distribution Support Coordinator will work under direct supervision and is responsible for the accurate receiving of orders into the warehouse.

    Primary Duties

    • Primary contact for drivers delivering shipments to DC55.
    • Performs C-TPAT 7 point inspections on inbound containers.
    • Directs container movement within the Receiving Dept.
    • Verifies receiving accuracy for each container when empty.
    • Schedules deliveries and reports empty containers using ContainerInfo in SharePoint.
    • Frequent contact with various business partners in Rockford via telephone and email.
    • Frequent contact with external contacts such as dray companies ,drivers, etc.
    • Collects weights and dimensions on new product and enters the data into the WM system.
    • Assists with inventory control needs and issues.
    • Gives task assignments to high bay drivers.
    • Responsible for supporting inventory accuracy and control procedures for all products in the FTZ and non FTZ areas
    • Performs other duties as required/assigned by Supervisor/Manager
    • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    • High School Diploma or GED required; relevant secondary education helpful
    • One year of Distribution Center experience preferred
    • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to effectively manage time
    • Ability to assist in resolving discrepancies by investigating issues  
    • Flexible schedule required; able to shift priorities easily to accommodate deadlines, business needs, and requirements
    • Strong computer skills required and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Excel and Word)
    • Adequate knowledge of DC computer systems and programs; AS400 (PkMS), Endicia, SAP, SOLE & UPS Worldship preferred  
    • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills; able to communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization
    • May be required to operate power equipment

    temperature conditions
