    Represents the Company with respect to promotion and sales of footwear to a variety of customers within a defined geographical area.


    Primary Duties

    • Develops, in coordination with the Sales Manager, a sales plan (by brand, account and product) for the territory.
    • Coordinates with the Sales Manager the most efficient coverage pattern for the territory as well as call frequency on major accounts; travels throughout assigned territory to solicit orders.
    • Displays or demonstrates products, using samples or catalogs and emphasizes salable features.
    • Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
    • Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of the company’s production and delivery schedules.
    • Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
    • Submit weekly and monthly reports, highlighting sales performance information by account, identifying opportunities/key issues within the territory.
    • Performs duties consistent with the company’s GTM/PDM goals and policies.
    • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    • Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
    • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the footwear industry.
    • Ability to assess customer needs and establish good relationship between the Company and the customer.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
