    As the eCommerce SEO Specialist , you will drive qualified traffic to fuel revenue and traffic growth for ecommerce websites and to acquire new customers for the business through search engine optimization (SEO).  Drive SEO via strategic recommendations and implement accordingly both directly and via external partners. You will work closely with brand ecommerce and marketing teams as well as user experience, web development and content teams.

    Primary Duties

    • Optimally employ search engine optimization best practices across multiple brands to drive qualified site traffic and acquire customers to build ecommerce business.

    • Conduct keyword research to drive SEO execution and advise business partners on consumer search intent.

    • Execute on-page optimization best practices to drive relevant keyword traffic and promote a positive consumer experience based on search intent. 

    • Write consumer focused website copy and product descriptions to drive consumers to their desired destination with SEO best practices in mind.

    • Support brands in blog strategy with ideas and direction to provide informative and useful content to consumers.  Blogging and writing execution potential.

    • Support brands social media strategy to drive social strategy and engagement along with positive social signals to search engines.

    • Execute off-page optimization best practices to build the domain authority for our brands along with relevant referral traffic.

    • Technical site review and partnering with our development team to ensure SEO best practices are executed and sites accessibility is optimal.

    • Develop reporting and actionable insights using SEO specific key performance indicators while observing overall consumer search trends.

    • Partner with retail store teams to drive local search engine optimization to drive consumer traffic and revenue to retail stores.

    • Execute conversion rate optimization for ecommerce sites to drive growth across digital marketing tactics.

    • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.

    • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing, Business, Economics or English
    • 3+ years of ecommerce, digital marketing or search engine optimization experience
    • Knowledge of offline marketing strategies and tactics
    • Excellent analytical skills critical
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Excellent technical knowledge relevant to typical ecommerce environment

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Normal office environment. Some travel required.
