    The Assistant Site Merchandiser will drive revenue growth and maximize the consumer experience on Wolverine Worldwide’s Emerging Brands websites by strategically merchandising brand product assortments. Own full site merchandising responsibilities including buying for smaller brand within portfolio as determined by Manager.


    Primary Duties


    • Coordinate cross-functionally with the appropriate business merchandisers and marketers to collect complete and accurate product information in a timely manner.
    • Obtain and prepare product images for site display.
    • Manage article creation process for any Emerging brand product sold online.
    • Execute product setup in PIM, set pricing in SAP, and categorize product on Demandware platform for display on all sites.
    • Merchandise products on sites based on selling patterns, trends, seasonality, business priorities, and inventory availability.
    • Analyze search keyword data to optimize search-ability of product assortment for the consumer. Implement keyword associations and site re-directs based on this analysis.
    • Monitor and implement product recommendations, cross sells and upsells for smaller brand in portfolio in addition to supporting Site Merchandisers where appropriate.
    • Maintain existing products to ensure accurate merchandising presentation, accounting for issues such as product availability, price changes, color changes, and description changes.
    • Manage email and on-site feature product recommendations for smaller brand in portfolio as determined by manager based on selling patterns, trends, seasonality, business priorities, and inventory availability.
    • Prepares and maintains inventory contracts for smaller brand in portfolio as determined by Manager. This includes formulating inventory plans, managing contracted inventory by period, and communicating delivery dates of all merchandise.
    • Assist Site Merchandisers with promotion code creation where necessary and own the process for a smaller brand as determined by Manager. Ensure proper coverage of inventory and timely/accurate set up of promotions in all cases.
    • Create and maintain a variety of basic business reports on a weekly basis from BW, Omniture, and Orderwave. Evaluate new reporting that could be necessary to improve sales on site.
    • Serve as a product knowledge expert to Wolverine Worldwide stores and Consumer Relations teams with ecommerce related questions and issues.
    • Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
    • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent experience
    • 1-2 years’ experience in an Omni-channel environment
    • Proficient knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, and Word
    • Basic knowledge of using Adobe Photoshop
    • Highly motivated/self-starter with a sense of ownership, a willingness to learn, and a strong desire to succeed
    • Aptitude for learning eCommerce systems such as Demandware, PIM, and Business Intelligence tools
    • Ability to perform data entry tasks quickly and accurately
    • Detail oriented
    • Exceptional organizational skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
